Just like films, media plays a pivotal role in Bollywood celebs’ life as the paps and reporters are responsible for giving any star a desirable publicity, which make him or her reach to the masses. But sometimes the relationship between celebs and media witness a rough patch, which affects the former. So, let’s check out the stars, who were boycotted by the media for some shocking reasons.
The megastar of Bollywood, Salman Khan was boycotted by paps for two weeks in 2014, when the actor’s bodyguards had a spat with photographers during the promotional event of Kick and instead of giving them sympathy, Salman behaved rudely with them and said, Those who want to cover the event are welcome to stay, the rest can leave if they wish.
Big B aka Amitabh Bachchan had faced an entire media ban when he was at its peak of his career. The ban, which lasted for a decade constituted of no interviews, photos and not even a single mention of him in any kind of media. Interestingly, the reason behind this was that the actor had menti0ned in his blog that he is informed by his sources that he brought an emergency ban over the press, which resulted in press banning the star for bringing such kind of idea.
Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan
During their relationship stage, before marriage, Saif Ali Khan and Bebo had made media wait for many hours before turning up for the rendezvous. The situation became worst when the couple arrived in front of them and paps stood and walked out. While Saif apologized, Bebo didn’t gave any reaction to them.
During the promotional event of Ek Villain, Shraddha had made wait paps outside and promised that she will pose later. But actress refused to get click, which led to a ban on her by photographers for a few days. In fact, the cast was also told pose with Shraddha by the photographers.
During a popular event, the Sri Lankan beauty was invited as a special guest but she arrived quite late than expected, which resulted in no publicity for that event from media.
