When asked about how she got the part, Tina Philip told BollywoodLife.com, “It’s all due to prayers. I had got a call and I don’t have a godfather or any connection in the industry or even in Mumbai. But I am really glad because I have such a great team to work with. Everyone is so humble plus the story is great.” Also Read – Mansi Srivastava – Mohit Abrol, Tina Philip, Kapil Sharma – meet TV’s newsmakers of the week

We did a BG check on Tina and learned that she is a CA! When asked about the same, the actress said, “My character, Vidhi wants to be an IAS officer and I could relate to her as I am a CA myself. I have studied a lot so, Vidhi getting up at 4:00 AM to study was something that I could totally relate with. Plus, Vidhi’s mother wants her to get married. Toh meri maa bhi waisi hi hai. Beti chartered accountant ban jaye ya chahe kuch bhi ho jaye, unka sapna yahi hai ki meri shaadi ho jaye,” (My mother is same as my on-screen mom’s character, she also wants me to get married).” Also Read – Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna actress Tina Philip to marry her on-screen brother

“She limps when she walks. So, I hadn’t done anything like that before, and it was a challenge for me. But since visit was not possible, I watched a lot of videos and I practiced,” Tina added elaborating what attracted her towards the character. She went on to talk about how she had formed a notion about Vidhi in her mind but found her to be jovial. “Initially, I thought she (Vidhi) would be cray-baby (in the show) since she has a physical disability. You know, people are quick to pinpoint. I thought I would have to keep crying throughout the show but that is not the case. Jab usko koi kuch bola deta hai tab wo bade pyaar se jawab de deti hai. (Vidhi gives it back in her own sweet way to anyone who crosses her),” Tina told us.

Well, that’s quite amazing. We cannot wait to watch Tina in Aye Mere Humsafar which premiere from 31st August.
