Tanuja Chandra (Qarib Qarib Singlle, Dushman, Sangharsh) will serve as the creative director and executive producer while Shikhaa Sharma (Shakuntala Devi, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Sherni) will double-hat as Executive Producer and original story writer. Kopal Nathani, one of the most promising names in advertising will be directing episodes for Hush Hush.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Amazon Prime Video has announced it’s upcoming web series, Hush Hush (working title), led by an all-women cast and crew. Amazon Original Hush Hush not only promises to tell a story with strong female protagonists, but it is also helmed by some of the finest female talent behind the camera. On the other hand, National Award-winning writer Juhi Chaturvedi (Gulabo Sitabo, Piku) has been roped in to pen the dialogues for the show written by Ashish Mehta. The web series will be produced by Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment (Breathe, Breathe: Into the Shadows, Shakuntala Devi, Airlift). Hush Hush, touted to be in the thriller genre, marks the digital debut of multiple aaward-winning Indian movie star, Juhi Chawla, as also that of Ayesha Jhulka, along with a host of popular female names from the entertainment industry, including Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, Shahana Goswami and Kritika Kamra in pivotal roles. The project also features an almost all-female crew, right from the production designer, costume designer, surpervising producer and co-producers to the art, costume, production coordination and even the security team.
